A PTO gearbox (Power Take-Off gearbox) is a precision mechanical transmission device that transfers rotational power from a prime mover — such as a tractor engine, truck transmission, or stationary motor — to auxiliary equipment through a standardized splined shaft. It performs speed conversion, directional change (typically 90°), and torque multiplication.
Every gearbox uses precision gear trains — spur, helical, spiral bevel, worm, and planetary — selected per load, speed, and environment. Our PTO inputs comply with ISO 500: Type 1 (540 RPM, 6-spline, Ø35mm) and Type 2/3 (1000 RPM, 21-spline).
